May is 12-9 with a 3.10 ERA in 34 starts and 12 relief appearances over five seasons with the Dodgers. He is eligible for free agency after the 2025 World Series.

Brewers non-tendered LHP Hoby Milner.

From a FIP standpoint, Milner has been baseball’s most consistent reliever the last three years; he’s pitched 64-65 innings, struck out 59-64, walked 13-15 and given up 5-6 homers every season. Unfortunately, the ERAs haven’t been so consistent; he went from 3.76 in 2022 to 1.82 in 2023 to 4.73 last season. He still seemed to be worth keeping around at $2.5 million or so, but the Brewers disagreed.
Eric Haase

Brewers and C Eric Haase avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract.

Jesse Rogers notes it’s for $1.35 million and can rise with incentives. Haase hit .273/.304/.515 with five homers in 30 games with the Brewers this season. The catcher will likely be the backup backstop to William Contreras for the 2025 campaign.
Anthony Seigler

MIL Second Baseman #80

Brewers signed INF Anthony Seigler to a minor league contract.

The 25-year-old was originally a first-round pick of the Yankees as a catcher back in 2018 and spent the past seven seasons in their minor league system. In 2024 he transitioned to second base full time and slashed .234/.350/.398 with 12 homers, 49 RBI, 29 stolen bases (in 32 attempts) and a 77/64 K/BB ratio across 433 plate appearances. He’ll add infield depth for the Brewers.
Pat Murphy

Pat Murphy won the National League Manager of the Year Award.

Murphy, who helped spearhead a dramatic second-half turnaround to lead Milwaukee back to the postseason in his managerial debut, takes home the honors after receiving 27 of 30 first-place votes in balloting. Padres skipper Mike Shildt came in second and Mets rookie manager Carlos Mendoza finished third in balloting.
Willy Adames

Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports that Willy Adames has rejected the qualifying offer from the Brewers.

Adames was never likely to accept the one-year, $21.05 million offer, but now it’s official. The 29-year-old was sensational in 2024 and has already generated significant interest from around the league. It seems very unlikely that Adames will be a member of the Brew Crew in 2025.
Logan Henderson

Brewers selected the contracts of RHP Logan Henderson and RHP Chad Patrick from Triple-A Nashville.

It looks like Coleman Crow will again be available in the Rule 5 draft, so the Brewers must not have been too impressed with what he did in the AFL as he completes his Tommy John rehab. Henderson and Patrick will both be candidates to make starts for the Brewers next season. Henderson has a good chance of eventually turning into a rotation mainstay. Patrick, who was acquired from the A’s for Abraham Toro a year ago, has fringier stuff, but he managed to go 14-1 with a 2.90 ERA in Triple-A last season.
Jackson Chourio

Jackson Chourio finished third in National League Rookie of the Year Award balloting.

Chourio delivered on the considerable preseason hype, blossoming from elite prospect to certifiable fantasy superstar over the course of his rookie campaign, finishing with a robust .275/.327/.464 triple-slash line with 80 runs scored ,21 homers, 79 RBI and 22 steals across 573 plate appearances. The 20-year-old sensation, who didn’t receive a first-place vote in balloting, was one of just 19 hitters to reach the 20-homer, 20-steal thresholds last season and heads into the 2025 campaign as a top 15 fantasy outfielder until further notice.
Deivi Garcia

ESPN Jeff Passan reported that the Brewers signed RHP Deivi García to a minor league contract.

García was a one-time top prospect of the Yankees whose performance fell off drastically as he dealt with mechanical inconsistencies. He was designated for assignment in August of 2023 after struggling in Triple-A for the Yankees and was claimed off waivers by the White Sox, who then designated him for assignment after he posted a 7.07 ERA in 14 bullpen innings this season. The Brewers did just have tremendous success turning around the career of Tobias Myers, who was also designated for assignment by multiple teams, so perhaps they’ll have similar success with García, who is still just 25 years old.
Jimmy Herron

Brewers signed OF Jimmy Herron to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.

Herron, 28, spent each of the past four seasons in the Rockies’ organization. In 2024, he slashed a solid .283/.362/.459 with 15 homers, 72 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 427 plate appearances across 98 games mostly at Triple-A Albuquerque. He could wind up being an intriguing bench bat given his combination of power and speed, but first he’ll have to crack a very crowded Brewers’ outfield mix.
Ray Delgado

MIL Third Baseman

Brewers signed INF Ray Delgado to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.

The versatile 24-year-old had a nice season for the Guardians’ Triple-A affiliate in 2024, slashing .275/.365/.426 with nine homers, 44 RBI, 22 stolen bases and an 85/38 K/BB ratio over 345 plate appearances. He’ll fight for a spot on the Brewers’ Opening Day bench.
