Managers who have Pippen rostered should hold onto him, as he can have value in deep leagues as a backup point guard.

He finished Saturday’s win with a season-high 26 points, and fantasy managers will also welcome the assists and 3-pointers. Memphis plays four games in Week 6, beginning with Portland on Monday.

Scotty Pippen Jr. shot 13-of-17 from the field and 1-of-1 from the foul line in Saturday’s win over the Bulls, tallying 30 points, two rebounds, 10 assists, and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Playing in the same building where his father helped hang three of Chicago’s six NBA championship banners (Chicago won the first three at the old Chicago Stadium), Pippen had a career night. The 30 points are a career-high for the Grizzlies point guard, who has filled in admirably for the injured Ja Morant. Pippen should be rostered in fantasy leagues until Morant returns, and he’ll likely have value even after that time comes.
