Mann continues to deal with a back issue that has his availability up in the air on a game-to-game basis. Vasilije Micic will continue to play about 15 minutes as the backup point guard with Mann out, but isn’t on the fantasy radar.

Grant Williams (right ACL tear) is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Williams was helped to the locker room on Saturday night after not being able to put any weight on his knee following a drive to the basket. Now, he isn’t expected to return this season. With Mark Williams and Nick Richards still out, Moussa Diabate should be considered a must-add as the only option at center.

Brandon Miller tallied 32 points (11-of-23 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block, and six 3-pointers in 43 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Milwaukee.

Not only did Miller notch his second 30-point game in a row, but he also recorded his first double-double of the season. Due to Charlotte’s many injuries in the frontcourt, with Grant Williams (knee) going down during the fourth quarter, they’ll need more rebounding from Miller. He’s corralled 18 boards in the last two games, a positive development for fantasy managers.

LaMelo Ball played 40 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Bucks, scoring 50 points (17-of-38 FGs, 10-of-13 FTs) with five rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, and six 3-pointers.

While some may offer a soft complaint about Ball’s percentages, the Hornets’ growing injury list makes it necessary that he take a lot of shots. He attempted 38 on Saturday, finishing with a career-high 50 points. This was not only Ball’s first 50-point game, but it was also his first with at least 40. The Hornets play four games in Week 6, beginning with the Magic on Monday.

Grant Williams was helped back to the locker room after suffering an apparent right knee injury during Saturday’s game against the Bucks.

Williams was injured with a little over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter when his right knee buckled on a drive to the basket. He immediately signaled to the Hornets bench for assistance and could not put any weight on the leg while being helped to the locker room. The Hornets are already without Mark Williams and Nick Richards; they cannot afford to lose Grant Williams. Moussa Diabate is the player to target if Grant misses time.

Miles Bridges (right knee bone bruise) will be re-evaluated in one week, the Hornets announced on Friday.

Bridges aggravated his knee injury on Tuesday and was held out of Thursday’s game. Now he’ll be sidelined for at least three more games. Moussa Diabate started in his place, with Grant Williams sliding over to power forward. If Diabate continues to start, he should be a solid source of rebounds and defensive numbers, though Cody Martin should also play a large role off the bench. He posted a 15/3/1/1/2 line with three triples in 36 minutes on against Detroit.

Moussa Diabate got the start on Thursday and contributed one point (0-of-2 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), 16 rebounds, one assist and three steals against the Pistons.

With Miles Bridges sidelined, Diabate got the start at center in this game, with Grant Williams sliding over to power forward. However, Diabate was still able to play 32 minutes and set a new career-high with 16 rebounds. Diabate has been able to provide rebounds and defensive numbers at times this season, but his inconsistent minutes have made him difficult to rely on. If Diabate gets another start in their next game, he will have some streaming upside.

LaMelo Ball lit up Detroit with 35 points (12-of-27 FGs), six rebounds, nine assists, one steal and four 3-pointers on Thursday.

Head coach Charles Lee benched LaMelo at the end of their last game, and the superstar point guard responded the right way. He had one of his best games of the year before fouling out during overtime. It was exactly what you want to see from your star player, and it helped them get a win. Ball continues to be one of the best players in fantasy hoops, and he has been available for every game so far. He only needs to play in seven more games to match his total from last season, though managers certainly have their hopes set much higher.

Brandon Miller led Charlotte with 38 points (15-of-26 FGs), seven rebounds, four assists, four steals, one block, eight 3-pointers and six turnovers in a 123-121 win over Detroit on Thursday.

After tying his season-high for points in their last game, Miller provided an encore by setting a new career-high for both points and 3-pointers. He scored eight points in overtime to help Charlotte secure the win, including a pair of huge triples. He got off to a slow start to the season, but he has picked things up recently and has entered the top-40 in 9-cat scoring. Miller’s shooting percentage (41.3%) is still limiting his value, otherwise he’d be among the top players. Miller is having an elite season and should continue to dominate for fantasy managers.
